Electrical and Electrical Engineering has gained rapid importance in view of ever increasing demand for power. As a result, many public and private sector companies are looking forward to recuit Electrical Engineering graduates. Apart from thermal, hydro, nuclear power generation, substantial growth in compact units of gas-turbine, generators, combined cycled plants by multinational companies are coming up. The Department is headed by a Professor with a Doctoral degree and has decades of eexperience in manufacturing and research. Apart from the Head another Professor with Ph.d., 3 Associated Professors with M.Tech., and 9 Post Graduate & Graduate Assistant Professors are there in the Department.
