Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) has experienced rapid growth since its establishment in 1997 by the Chaitanya Bharathi Educational Society (CBES) in the serene and tranquil surroundings of Gandipet, Hyderabad.
The institute is accredited by NAAC with A++ grade for a period of 5 years w.e.f 23rd Nov 2023. MGIT has obtained academic Autonomous status by UGC for 10 years from the academic year 2021-22 and all the Departments of the Institute have been accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The Institute has been consistently ranked among the top 10 Engineering Colleges in Telangana State.
In its two decades and more of its evolution, all the stake holders of the Institute, relentlessly endeavoured to position MGIT as a Leader and an Innovator in the ecosystem of technical education. The Institute has established excellent Infrastructure such as state-of-the art laboratories, spacious library with a collection of printed and digital books & journals, sports & hostel facilities along with Infrastructure for extra and co-curricular engagements. in pursuit of academic excellence. MGIT has scaled greater heights both Nationally & Internationally and made its mark in Industry and in academia.

Each team should consist of 4-5 members.
We encourage collaboration and diversity in skill sets for a well-rounded team.
A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 per team is required for registration.
Payment details will be provided upon registration.
This event is open to all college students.
A valid college ID and a government-issued ID are mandatory for verification at the event.
All development work must be done during the hackathon hours.
Pre-existing projects or cases of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
Participants are required to bring their laptops, chargers, and any necessary hardware.
Internet access will be provided at the venue.
Teams must submit their project by the end of the hackathon period for evaluation.
Projects will be evaluated based on creativity, technical difficulty, impact, and presentation.
Certificates will be awarded to all participants.
Special prizes will be given to top-performing teams.
Meals (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided to keep participants energized.
Snacks and beverages, including tea and coffee, will also be available.

Another opportunity for participants to enjoy a meal in batches until 9:30 PM.
Initial presentations where teams preview their projects to judges for early feedback.
A leisurely break from coding with engaging activities to relax and have fun.
Coffee, tea, and biscuits served to help maintain focus during the late-night coding sprint.
A crucial time for teams to finalize their projects and prepare for the final presentation.
Energizing breakfast served to fuel participants for the final push of the hackathon.
Final Presentation - Teams present their completed projects to judges and peers, showcasing their hard work and innovation.
The event wraps up with the announcement of winners, distribution of prizes, and acknowledgments, celebrating the achievements of all participants.
