Hackathon-2024: A Proud Victory for MGIT Students

MGIT proudly announces the exceptional achievement of our students at the Smart India Hackathon-2024, a national-level event held from December 11th to 15th at Forge Innovations and Venture, Coimbatore. Competing against top teams from prestigious institutions across India, our talented team emerged victorious, securing the First Prize in the “Hardware” category.

This remarkable success highlights the institution’s commitment to nurturing innovation and excellence. To support and motivate students in participating in this prestigious event, the project was entirely funded by MGIT, while the event was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology.

For their outstanding performance, the team was awarded a cash prize of ₹1 Lakh. The victory was made possible through the relentless efforts and dedication of the following students:
