MGIT Organizes Successful Field Visit to M/s Fusion Heat Treatment

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of MGIT recently organized a field visit to M/s Fusion Heat Treatment in Patancheru on February 13, 2023. The visit was part of Quarter-II activities and events scheduled by MoE’s IIC. Mr. Sarath Subramanyam, an alumnus of MGIT, addressed about 60 students from the Mechanical, Mechatronics, EEE and MME branches. He explained how the process of heat treatment is carried out and how it affects different metals, ceramics, and polymers while using various applications and equipment.

During the visit, Mr. Sarath Subramanyam also shared his entrepreneurial success story and encouraged the students to consider taking the path of entrepreneurship, breaking free from the conventional mode of thinking of securing employment.

Accompanying the students for the field visit were IIC-MGIT’s Vice President Dr. M. Sreevani, Convener K.C. Sabitha, and IIC members Dr. P. Chandra Sekhar, Dr. C.S. Srinivas, Mrs. Gousiya Begum, CH. Lakshmi Kumari, K. Krishna Bhavani Siram, B. Ramakrishna, and P. Ranjit Krishna.

The field trip was a great success under the leadership of Dr. G. Chandramohan Reddy, Principal of MGIT, and the guidance of Dr. K. Sudhakar Reddy, President of IIC. MGIT wishes Mr. Ram Subramanyam all the best in his future business endeavors.
