Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) recently hosted an enlightening guest lecture on “Time Management and Growth in Life,” organized by the Career Development Cell (CDC). The event, held on March 24, 2023, in the A-Block Auditorium, offered valuable insights for the personal and professional development of students.
The lecture, conducted from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, was graced by the presence of Mr. Srinivas Evani, Vice-president of Franklin Covey, an esteemed organization known for its influential training and consulting services. Mr. Evani, with his profound expertise and experience, captivated the audience by covering the key aspects of ‘The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,’ a cornerstone in personal development literature.
The event saw an enthusiastic participation of about 176 students, who registered through a Google form. Mr. Evani emphasized the significance of effective time management as a crucial skill for succeeding in various facets of life. He shared practical strategies and insights on how students can manage their time better, thereby paving the way for their academic and career growth.
Prof. V.V.N. Satya Suresh, Director of CDC, along with co-convenors Mr. P.G. Guruvelu, Dr. T. Niranjan, Ms. Gousiya Begum, Mr. S. Abhishek Reddy, Ms. P. Shirisha, Ms. N. Sree Divya, Mr. Bhomik Ketari Deogade, and Dr. Ch.Srinivasu, played pivotal roles in the successful organization of the event. Their efforts ensured that the lecture was not only informative but also engaging for the students.
The lecture was conducted in an offline mode, fostering an interactive and personal learning environment. Participants’ feedback was collected post-event, reflecting the positive impact and the appreciation of the students for this initiative.
