MGIT celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm on 21st June, 2024. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Narsingi Municipal Chairperson, Smt. Mailaaram Nagapurna Garu, Municipal Commissioner, Shri T. Praveen Kumar Reddy Garu, and Municipal Counselor, Smt. Gopala Sunita Garu.
The celebrations commenced with a yoga session led by experienced instructors, focusing on promoting the benefits of yoga for mental and physical well-being. Students, faculty, and staff actively participated, demonstrating various yoga asanas and meditation techniques.
In her address, Smt. Mailaaram Nagapurna Garu emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into daily routines for a healthier lifestyle. Shri T. Praveen Kumar Reddy Garu and Smt. Gopala Sunita Garu also shared their insights on the significance of yoga in maintaining overall wellness.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a pledge by all attendees to practice yoga regularly. MGIT continues to promote holistic education and well-being through such enriching activities.
