The Department of Emerging Technologies, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT), Hyderabad, in association with Teks Academy, is organizing a five-day workshop titled “From Data to Insights: Big Data & Visualization” for B.Tech students of CSM and CSD branches.

The workshop is designed to provide students with practical exposure to modern Big Data technologies and AI-powered data analytics tools. The sessions will be handled by industry experts from Teks Academy and will focus on bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.

The workshop will cover:

• Big Data technologies including Hadoop and Spark
• Data analysis using Python and R
• Data preprocessing and exploratory data analysis
• Advanced data visualization techniques
• AI-powered analytics approaches
• Hands-on practical sessions and capstone activities

Participants will gain real-time exposure to data-driven technologies through interactive sessions, lab exercises, and project-based learning activities.

Venue:

• A Block Auditorium & A-207 Lab.

Guidelines:

• All students must carry laptops for the hands-on sessions.
• Participation is mandatory for III Year CSM & CSD students.
• Students are advised to attend all sessions regularly to gain maximum benefit from the workshop.
