About the Programme

As Large Language Models become central to research, teaching and industry, using them ethically, transparently and securely is essential. This AICTE-ATAL sponsored programme equips participants with the principles, frameworks and practical skills of responsible AI governance through expert lectures, hands-on sessions, article discussions and an industrial visit to DRDO, Hyderabad.

Objectives

  • Understand the principles and frameworks of responsible AI governance for LLMs
  • Explore ethical, transparent, secure and trustworthy use of LLMs in research and industry
  • Develop practical skills for managing AI risks: bias, privacy, hallucination, security and data protection
  • Design and implement responsible, compliant, industry-ready LLM applications through hands-on sessions and case studies

Outcomes

  • Practical knowledge of responsible AI governance
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, bias detection and XAI tools (SHAP, LIME)
  • Ability to identify AI risks and ensure ethical, secure AI use
  • Ability to develop responsible LLM-based solutions for research and industry

Registration & Facilities

  • No registration fee
  • Lunch will be provided
  • Limited accommodation on prior request
  • Rs. 1200/- travel reimbursement for external participants travelling more than 20 km one side with at least 90% attendance
  • Selection as per AICTE-ATAL guidelines, first come first served; limited to 50 participants

Certificate Criteria

  • Minimum 80% attendance
  • Minimum 70% marks in the test at the end of the programme
  • 2-page article summary (team or individual)
  • Report/outcome of the industrial visit (team), presented at the last session
