AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy One-Week Faculty Development Programme(FDP) on Quantum Computing: Foundations and Applications

Faculty members / Research Scholars / PG Students / Working Professionals are eligible to participate. The number of participants is limited to 50. There is no course fee. Selection of the participants will be based on a first come first serve basis.

Registration:

  • No objection certificate (NOC) from sponsoring institute duly signed by Head of the sponsoring institute is compulsory.
  • The Number of Seats are limited, and seats will be allotted on a first come first serve basis.
  • The registration is free; however, the prospective participants need to complete the registration process at ATAL portal: https://atalacademy.aicte-india.org/login

    Last Date of Registration: 2nd July, 2025.

Test and Evaluation:

On the last day of the program, a test will be conducted to assess the understanding of the participants gained from the sessions and the article readings. Participants need to qualify in test. Attendance in all sessions and during industrial visit is compulsory to get eligible for certificate.

Confirmation:

The selected participants will receive notification via email registered with the ATAL portal. The FDP will be conducted entirely in an offline mode. Accommodation details will be available upon request for participants.

Objectives:

  • To deliver a comprehensive exploration of Quantum Concepts.
  • To integrate Quantum Concepts into Curriculum of undergraduate courses/Postgraduate programs.
  • To enable practical laboratory experiences with quantum techniques.
  • To empower participants with the requisite knowledge, skills, and tools in the Indian context.
  • To focus on quantum-enabled intelligence in computing and communication.

Attendance:

It is mandatory for each participant to attend all the sessions of FDP, including the article discussion sessions and journal reflection session. Industrial visit will be conducted as per the schedule. It is mandatory for all the participants to be a part of the industrial visit.
