AICTE-VAANI Sponsored 3-Day Workshop on Mastering Prompt Engineering for Generative AI

09 Sep 2026 - 11 Sep 2026 | Organized by: Department of Emerging Technologies Website  | Registration Form  | Brochure

The objective of the 3 Day Workshop on “Mastering Prompt Engineering for Generative AI” under the emerging field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of prompt engineering techniques and their critical role in effectively utilizing Generative AI technologies. The workshop aims to equip students, faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals with practical knowledge of designing, optimizing, and evaluating prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI-powered platforms.

The program focuses on enhancing participants’ abilities to generate accurate, creative, and context-aware outputs for applications including content generation, coding assistance, data analysis, research support, automation, and decision-making. Through expert sessions, hands-on exercises, real-world case studies, and interactive demonstrations, participants will gain practical exposure to advanced prompting strategies, AI workflows, and responsible AI usage.

The workshop also emphasizes ethical considerations, AI limitations, data privacy, bias mitigation, and best practices for human-AI collaboration in research and industry environments. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to effectively leverage Generative AI tools to improve productivity, innovation, problem-solving capabilities, and digital transformation across diverse academic and industrial domains.
