Event Overview

The First-Year B.Tech Student Orientation Programme marks the beginning of the academic journey for students admitted under the Convener Quota and B-Category for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

Students and their parents are invited to participate in this programme to become familiar with the institute’s academic environment, infrastructure, policies, student support systems, and departmental activities.

The Orientation Programme provides an opportunity to:

• Meet the Principal, Heads of Departments, and Faculty Members
• Learn about academic regulations and examination procedures
• Explore campus facilities and student support services
• Understand placement, innovation, research, and extracurricular opportunities

Student Induction Programme (SIP)

Duration: 03 August 2026 – 07 August 2026

The Student Induction Programme is conducted in accordance with AICTE Guidelines to help newly admitted students successfully transition into engineering education.

The programme aims to:

• Help students adapt to the new academic environment
• Encourage interaction with faculty members and peers
• Develop confidence and communication skills
• Promote ethical values and professional behaviour
• Introduce institutional resources and student support services
• Foster holistic development through academic and extracurricular activities
