“HACKATHON” Indigenous Mechanized Loading and unloading of Food grains for FCI.

In MGIT, a seminar on the Hackthon event has been conducted by the department of ECE in association with Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) – IIT Delhi and the Food Corporation of India (FCI). They interacted with the students by inviting startups, individuals, and teams of innovators to solve the challenges related to supply chain, logistics management design, and product design.

The student teams were invited to give ideas for designing an independent mechanical portable system to load and unload gunny bags filled with food grains. In this program, Mr. Manveer Chadha has given an introduction about FITT, and Mr. Ramagalla Devender, manager of FCI, has explained the problem statement. Dr. S. P. Singh has given assurance that the students of MGIT can surely design the required prototype and will find the solution to the problem. Dr.G Madhavi and Dr.S Praveena also took part in the program.

Venue:

C-Block, ECE seminar Hall, MGIT.

Event Guidelines:

Students as a teams need to design the prototype.
To get the inputs they can visit FCI as a groups.
Final Hackathon will be conducted from the shortlisted
teams by FITT-IIT Delhi.
Winning team will get a chance to receive up to Rs 10
lakhs as a prototype grant.
