National Conference on “Innovations in Civil Engineering Through Sustainable Technologies (NICEST’21)” is organized by Department of Civil Engineering, MGIT. The inaugural conference,  NICEST‘18, was held in February, 2018. Subsiquently the Conference is being held every year on thrust areas of research related to sustainability. It is being organized with main focus to enable researchers, academicians and industry experts to exchange ideas and share the knowledge to lead the society towards sustainable development. This conference facilitates a platform to present ideas and discuss future R&D requirements that would enhance sustainable development in the field of Civil Engineering, which is a commendable topic as the natural resources are declining at a rapid rate with intensification of technological and infrastructural expansion. Department of Civil Engineering, MGIT has taken up the responsibility to bring best of the academicians, researchers and industry experts to discuss these issues at a single venue, to come up with feasible solutions by organizing a national conference.
