Students from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) achieved a significant milestone by securing the First Prize at the CSI AI 100K Project Expo. The event witnessed participation from more than 90 projects from various institutions, making the competition highly competitive.
The winning project, titled “Smart UPS Monitoring System,” earned the team a cash prize of ₹15,000. The project focuses on ensuring continuous and reliable power supply, which is particularly critical in healthcare environments where power interruptions can directly affect patient care.
