Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology organized a seminar on “Semiconductors and Sensors for Global Well-being” on the occasion of National Science Day. The seminar was organized by the Department of Physics and Chemistry. The Chief Guest, Prof. K. Ghanshyam Krishna, Head of CASEST, School of Physics, University of Hyderabad, spoke about the importance and application of the Raman effect. He also spoke about the role of semiconductor devices and sensors in engineering and technology and their importance and applications, including developments and opportunities in this field.
The Principal, Prof. G. Chandra Mohan Reddy, emphasized the importance of Science Day Celebration. The Head of the Department of Physics and Chemistry, Dr. M. Ravi Chander, delivered the welcome address. HoDs, faculty members, and students participated in the program.
