Expert Lecture on “Innovative Infrastructure Solutions through Pre-Engineered Buildings”

The Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering, MGIT, organized an expert lecture on “Innovative Infrastructure Solutions through Pre-Engineered Buildings” on 18-11-2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at E-101.

The session was delivered by Mr. K. Saran Rao, Project Manager, Anuktha Avenues, Hyderabad. Faculty members and students from the Civil Engineering department actively participated in the event.

Welcoming the gathering, Dr. G. ChandraMohan Reddy, Principal, highlighted the importance of understanding modern engineering challenges and encouraged students to stay updated with advanced construction technologies.

Dr. V. Venkata Ramayya, HoD, Civil Engineering, addressed the relevance of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs) in current infrastructure development and emphasized their growing industrial importance.

During the lecture, Mr. K. Saran Rao explained how Pre-Engineered Buildings offer significant advantages such as reduced construction time, cost-effectiveness, design flexibility, and environmental sustainability. He also elaborated on innovative PEB practices and their practical outcomes in modern infrastructure projects.
