MGIT Civil Engineering Students Win Second Prize in CIVIQ Quiz at INFRANOVA’26, Vasavi College of Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT), is pleased to announce that its students won the Second Prize in CIVIQ – Civil Quiz at INFRANOVA’26.

INFRANOVA’26 was a technical symposium organised by the Department of Civil Engineering, Vasavi College of Engineering (Autonomous), Hyderabad, under the aegis of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) Students’ Chapter, on 13 October 2026.

The winning team, from V Semester B.Tech Civil Engineering, included:
– Karthikeya
– Aravind
– Vishnuvardhan

CIVIQ tested participants on core civil engineering concepts, technical aptitude and general awareness of the civil engineering field. The MGIT team’s performance reflected a strong grasp of fundamentals and quick thinking under competitive conditions.
