The III and IV Year students of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) recently attended a distinguished lecture on “Topological Aspects of Mean-Field Crystallographically Resolved Models” at the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. The lecture was held on March 03, 2023 (Friday) and was delivered by Professor Leo A. I. Kessens from Ghent University, Belgium. The lecture was an excellent opportunity for the students to gain insights into the latest research in the field of materials science and crystallography. The students were able to interact with Professor Kessens and learn from his vast experience in the field. Such lectures are a testament to MGIT’s commitment to providing its students with opportunities to learn from distinguished experts in their respective fields.
