MGIT EEE Students Bag First Prize at TECHSPHERE-2026 National Conclave

Hyderabad, 6th August 2026 — Students of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT), have secured the First Prize at TECHSPHERE-2026 – National Science & Technology Student Conclave, hosted by Woxsen University, Hyderabad.

The winning entry was presented in the Prototype Presentation category under the title “Digital Twin & Smart Architecture for Uninterrupted Supply.” The team was awarded the first position along with a cash prize of ₹25,000.

Competing against participants from institutions across the country, the team showcased a working prototype demonstrating the application of digital twin technology and smart architectural design to ensure continuity of power supply. The judging panel recognised the entry for its technical depth, practical relevance to modern grid reliability, and quality of implementation.

The Management, Principal, Head of the Department of EEE, and faculty members congratulated the students on their accomplishment and appreciated the guidance extended by the mentoring faculty. The achievement adds to the department’s growing record of student participation and recognition at national-level technical platforms.
