The Training & Placements Cell of MGIT recently organized a seminar on “Industrial Automation” by Mr. Mohammed Akmal, Manager, SITRAIN, SIEMENS, on 15 March 2023 at 10.30 AM. The seminar was exclusively designed for B. Tech III/IV EEE, ECE, Mechanical & Mechatronics Students, where they were informed about the importance of PLC for making process automated, various layers of Automation Pyramid, introduction to Industry 4.0, its impact on manufacturing industry and latest technologies provided by SITRAIN.
The seminar aimed at providing students with an opportunity to learn new information, gain insights from Siemens Expert and engage in thoughtful discussions with Industry partners & other participants. The students appreciated the event and expressed their satisfaction with the enriching experience. The seminar was successful in helping students understand the significance of automation in the manufacturing industry and how the latest technologies can help achieve sustainability.
