Training and Interactive Session for the Intermediate Students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Vattem Branch on the significance of Core Engineering Stream

The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering has organized a Training Session for the Intermediate (Second Year) students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Vattem on November 29, 2023. Professor G. ChandraMohan Reddy, Principal, MGIT has welcomed the students to the Institute and addressed. As a part of his address, he has informed the students that the pride of the Nation is largely dependent on the Core Engineering Disciplines. He has also advised all the students who aspire for taking admission in Engineering Course to pursue Core Engineering programs. The Faculty Members of the Department have arranged for Laboratory Tour to all the students. The students were taken to a few significant Laboratories viz., Metal Forming, Metal Casting, Physical Metallurgy, Heat Treatment, and 3D Printing. During which, the students interacted with the Faculty Members. The students have got benefited with this interactive training session and thanked the Administration of the Institute for arranging such a fruitful session.
