Functions of WDC

• The committee was informed to safeguard the interest of the women employees in MGIT.
• To work actively for the general progress and welfare of the women employees in the Institute.
• To render timely assistance / advice wherever needed and instill confidence in the minds of the working women.

• The members of the Women’s Development Committee(WDCl meet periodically and discuss about the measures to be initiated by the college for the general welfare of the women employees in the campus.

Significance of the cell

• To safeguard the self-esteem and rights of the women; empowering them to take part in all the activities for the betterment of college, society and country.

• To create a better community for women by promoting awareness of issues effecting women and to strengthen women to reach their skills and to help then in promoting women’s rights.
